Things you need:
- Plaque
- Stencil
- Tape
- Spray paint
- Acrylic paint
- Magazines
- Clear acrylic coating
- Ribbon

1. Paint the plaque a color of your choice.
2. After it dries select a stencil and tape it to the plaque.
3. Spray paint the stencil
4. If you would like, then take a darker tone or the color you used in acrylic paint.
Blend it over the dried spray paint still with the stencil in place
5. After a couple minutes of initial dry time remove the stencil.
6. In this case for the leaf - tape off the stencil to allow only the leaf to be open.
Tape the stencil to the plaque again and this time used a textured green spray
paint to fill in the leaf.  After about five minutes, remove the stencil and allow
the leaf to dry completely. Then repeat that procedure to do the second leaf.
7. To personalize the plaque decoupage cut-out letters from magazines onto the
upper right corner.
8. After the glue dries spray the entire plaque with a clear acrylic coating.
9. Replace the ribbon to hang the plaque on the wall.
